Project grants

The Energy Intensive Businesses (EIB) project provides grants to organisations investing in energy efficient technologies.

Applicants must be happy for their project to be included in publicity material to help promote energy efficiency in their industry.

The grants are designed to pay for projects that include energy efficient technologies such as:

• high efficiency motors
• fans and boilers
• variable speed drives
• dehumidifier dryers
• heat recovery
• storage and retention
• cogeneration
• renewable waste product fuels
• industrial refrigeration
• fishing technologies
• soil moisture sensing
