Heavy vehicle performance advisor training

To help build fuel efficiency capability in the heavy transport sector, EECA BUSINESS runs a Heavy Vehicle Performance Advisor (HVPA) training programme.

The programme has been designed to increase the knowledge and skills of those working with large heavy vehicle fleets, to enable them to identify fuel savings opportunities and implement a fuel saving programme.

EECA BUSINESS is seeking applications from individuals wishing to undertake the training to become Heavy Vehicle Performance Advisors.

The training programme consists of:

  • a two-day training course
  • mentoring through the first fleet assessment, development of an action plan and implementation of a fuel efficiency programme with a fleet operator
  • ongoing support for the first three months following the course.

HVPAs can access funding from EECA BUSINESS to helop operators improve their fleet's fuel efficiency.

To be eligible for the Heavy Vehicle Performance Advisor training, you must meet minimum selection criteria.

The next course will run on either 28 and 29 January 2014, or on 29 and 30 January 2014.
