The Energy Management Association (EMANZ) offers energy efficiency training courses for people working in the commercial sector.

Courses available now:

Facilities Managers' energy efficiency training course

A course designed for those who manage buildings and facilities (Property Managers, Building Managers, Maintenance Managers, Operations Managers and Asset Managers etc) Prepared with the help of the Facilities Management Association of New Zealand, it offers training in electricity and energy, focussing on the ways that building systems can make the most efficient use of resources. The course is set at the equivalent of Levels 5-6 on the NZ Qualifications Framework.

Commercial Building Energy Specialists

Training in optimal energy performance for engineers and technicians involved in the design, construction and maintenance of commercial buildings.  This course has been created for engineers and technicians who work in improving energy efficiency in commercial buildings from the design stage on. It covers the latest technology and techniques and is set at Advanced Trade to Degree level, equivalent to NZQA 5-7.
